In addition to the redesigned lightweight headset and patented sound-sealing A2X tubing, it features a convertible chestpiece with 3 real bells and 3 separate diaphragms in adult, pediatric, and infant modes.

The aluminum chestpiece comes fitted with bells and diaphragms in adult, pediatric and infant sizes allowing for quick conversions to nine different configurations. Each diaphragm features a non-chill retaining ring to provide a secure acoustic transmission for heart and lung sounds.

Sound Barrier
Constructed of latex-free PVC, the patented A2X is an A-Type redesigned with an X configuration and dual input. It maintains two sound transmission channels to preserve acoustic integrity while sealing out extraneous sounds, even in high-noise conditions. The thicker, denser PVC construction prevents cracking and wearing.
