We are working on a small island of Madagascar called Nosy Mitsio. There we are part of what is called a TIMO team. TIMO (pronounced team-o) stands for Training in Ministry Outreach. It is a program in which we do course work and study in order to build a solid foundation for a lifetime in ministry. The first six months are intensive learning of their language and culture. After that we work through the TIMO program and find culturally appropriate ways to share The Gospel. The Antakarana are an unreached people group, and it is AIM's goal that through our TIMO team an evangelical Antakarana church will be born in the dialect and be led by local leaders that will spread from Nosy Mitsio to the Antakarana living on the main island of Madagascar.
