In honor of breast cancer awareness, MDF partners with Charlotte for her packages, providing our special Breast Cancer Awareness Rose Gold MD One Stethoscope. These were given to breast cancer patients to inspire hope by gifting the stethoscope to a loved nurse or doctor who has made an impact in their life on the journey they have been on with their diagnosis.

The way these packages are delivered are through partnered “hospitals who'd like to bring breast cancer patients together for an afternoon of community, education and giving, there lies the opportunity to distribute WeCare Packages. With every MDF Breast Cancer Awareness Rose Gold MD One Stethoscope sold, $5.00 is donated to the foundation. MDF also offers the option to donate $5.00, no other purchase necessary for additional support. Life is about options and it is crucial to let these strong women know they will never run out of options no matter the obstacle.

“You don't think about purchasing a beanie for your head because it's going to get cold during chemotherapy, or a neck pillow/blanket because you will be reclining so much more than you normally do. It was so comforting to know that there was an organization trying to help make my time just a little easier to handle during all the challenging periods of treatment. The WeCare package meant more to me than I can ever really express. I had taken care of my mom during her treatment for breast cancer, and for the first time since I was diagnosed, I truly felt taken care of. All I can say is not a single breast cancer patient should go without one.”

Be Like Brit

In many ways she was a typical teenage girl but her humor, passion and deep sense of caring for those less fortunate made Britney Gengel memorable to all who met her. It was her compassion for others that brought Brit to Haiti, just a day before a catastrophic earthquake that claimed an estimated 230,000 lives rocked the small, poverty stricken country.

Barnhem Muang Mai Mission

Barnhem opened in February 2005 and initially focused on helping tsunami victims. All of those have been able to move out and today Barnhem is not disaster victim oriented – many people in Thailand were already poor and exposed before the flood waves. Today Barnhem houses children for many different reasons. Many have lost one or both, of their parents; others are here because they lack a family member or relative to care for them - or their relatives lack the strength to do so.
