MEDICAL MISSION

Nurses with Purpose

South Africa

Medical Strata

Nurses with Purpose are volunteer nurses who want to step outside the clinic doors to utilize their medical training for more good, the best they can. Nurses With Purpose’s mission is to “enrich the lives of others, as we enrich the lives of ourselves through meaningful experiences created through the power of giving back”. Personal opinions are left at home, Nurses with Purpose serve as another pathway to the growth of existing processes and amenities others have made.

Medical Mission - Nurses with Purpose

Established in 2017, Nurses with Purpose attracts nurses who have a passion about healthcare aid and serving abroad, in any way they can. It is evident that "Nurses with Purpose encourages medical professionals to make volunteering a necessary component in their career". These services will broaden their love for their profession and extend to others in the same field to follow the route of giving.

This organization has various volunteers that are strong in different areas of medicine. They are determined to aid in times of distress such as natural disasters, general public healthcare, and education to others to prolong the health of their community. Their medical missions mostly focus on the Southern Africa Region. These mission trips are always a success since they decide to partner with people who share the same mindset goals for the ideas of how outreach really is the “key to hope and vitality of life”.

These wonderful nurses strive to implement on-going support through health fairs, children mentorship, and healthcare education as a whole to some orphanages on their trips. By providing staff and the proper equipment to conduct these programs, Nurses With Purpose are able to make an impact on these communities. Nurses with Purpose believe that giving should not be an extracurricular but implanted in everyone's routine in order to make this world spin a little smoother. Be Like Brit

In many ways she was a typical teenage girl but her humor, passion and deep sense of caring for those less fortunate made Britney Gengel memorable to all who met her. It was her compassion for others that brought Brit to Haiti, just a day before a catastrophic earthquake that claimed an estimated 230,000 lives rocked the small, poverty stricken country.

Barnhem Muang Mai Mission

Barnhem opened in February 2005 and initially focused on helping tsunami victims. All of those have been able to move out and today Barnhem is not disaster victim oriented – many people in Thailand were already poor and exposed before the flood waves. Today Barnhem houses children for many different reasons. Many have lost one or both, of their parents; others are here because they lack a family member or relative to care for them - or their relatives lack the strength to do so.
