MDF INSTRUMENTS® LIFETIME WARRANTY

What is the Lifetime Warranty?

MDF Instruments® is committed to not only providing the best sound quality stethoscope for medical professionals and the best personalized designs, but we are here for you when your beloved sunflower stethoscope deteriorates on you! All of our stethoscopes have a Lifetime Warranty which covers stethoscope parts such as stiff and hardened tubing, missing ear tip holders, chest piece parts and other issues you may run into while using your MDF®. Although we do not cover lost or stolen items our customer service team will not leave you high and dry without a working instrument, so let us know what is going on and we will be sure to help you out in the best way possible. We may also include any requested stethoscope parts such as stethoscope ear tips, ID Tags, Non-Chill Rings, and Diaphragms (stethoscope cover) for your stethoscope.

Where can I find the form?

You may ask yourself, how do I take advantage of this Lifetime Warranty to get the parts I need for my stethoscope? The process is super simple and here for you whenever you may need it.. For LIFE. Since we are the only medical instruments company who has established a Lifetime Warranty for our customers, we assure you it is a process that does not take a lifetime. Start by filling out our Lifetime Warranty form on our website, no login is needed. You can find this at the bottom of any of our pages on our website under customer support “Lifetime Warranty”. Click that link and it will take you straight to our form to fill out. The Form ItselfThe form asks for basic contact information , shipping information, and of course details about your MDF® stethoscope. We get questions about the lot number and serial number on your stethoscope. The lot# is located on the barcode of your original box your stethoscope came in, this helps us identify any issues that may arise so we can pinpoint which warehouse the stethoscope was made and implement improvements for our products. The serial number usually starts with one or two letters followed by 6 or 7 numbers on the chestpiece. If you own a ProCardial®, most likely your serial number is hidden under the bell . If you didn't know, the ProCardial® has interchangeable heads to convert your dual head adult stethoscope to neonatal and pediatric! To view your serial number, unscrew the bell side of the chestpiece, this is the smaller side of your chest piece or the opposite side where the MDF® logo is. The serial number is on the chestpiece, not the detachable bell. We place it here in the case where you lose your bell attachment, you still have your serial number!

What if I want to switch up?

Was black the only available color when you purchased your MDF® four years ago? Do you have a new favorite color or want to try a design? There may be instances where we do not have your model or color available for replacements, no worries we will work with you on getting the perfect replacement for you. We try to be as flexible as possible with every customer we assist to guarantee you are the happiest you can be with your new stethoscope replacement. Over-serving you is one of our core values.

How do I take care of my New Tubing?

Stethoscope hardened tubing is common in many stethoscopes, many wear a stethoscope around their neck in the medical fields which causes oils to seep into the tubing which quickens the hardening process. We recommend you clean the stethoscope thoroughly before each use. Use a clean cotton cloth or swab and 70% isopropyl alcohol solution to cleanse all soiled parts, and avoid prolonged exposure of acoustic tubing to excessive heat, cold and solvents. We suggest hanging your stethoscope after each use if possible instead of wearing it around your neck to avoid the natural oils from our skin to interact with the material of the tubing. This suggestion of course would be within the possibilities of your profession.

How Long Does This Process take?

Our team reviews these daily so you can expect a response to your submission within 24-48 hours, so make sure to put in a good contact email or phone number! Once we review your submission we will email you either a confirmation of the parts you will be receiving or an email regarding some further details needed for your claim. We are here to happily assist in any way that we can , you can contact us by emailing us at customer.service@mdfinstruments.com or give us a call at 818-357-5647 for any questions you may have!
