How to Find Your Stethoscope's Serial Number
To find your MDF Instruments® stethoscope serial number look for seven characters printed on the stethoscope chess piece. This should be a letter followed by a six digit number. Some models may vary with two letters and 6 or 7 numbers.
Still Can't find it?
On the MDF797T and some MDF797 Stainless steel models have a hidden serial number. The serial number is not the 490-002 number on the diaphragm where the MDF logo is. Please unscrew the other side which is the bell piece of the chest piece to see the serial number on the chest piece. Please note the serial number is not on the detachable attachment pieces.
For the 797X unscrew the chest piece to find the serial number. For the 767X you can find the serial number in the side of the middle barrel.
